About Us

Dear Schuylkill Elementary School Families,

Welcome to the 2020-21 Schuylkill Elementary school year!  While this year promises to be different than any other, we are committed to doing as much as we can to continue many of the SSHA activities and school support as we are able in these unusual times.

We wanted to take a moment for a special welcome to our incoming second graders and new students.   Schuylkill’s School and Home Association (SSHA) is a family driven organization designed to strengthen communication between families and the school community, raise funds to support school based activities and provide volunteer opportunities for families with students attending Schuylkill Elementary School.  In a typical year, we support over 30 events providing both volunteer and financial support.  Examples include school assemblies, family events at the school, book fairs, and teacher appreciation.

Keeping families active in our school community is an important part of our work.  Volunteering comes in many different shapes and sizes and we understand everyone has unique availability based on family, work, interests and other activities.  Click on the links below to read more about ways to be involved and sign up for what interests you.
