About Us

Dear Schuylkill Elementary School Families,

Welcome to the 2019-20 Schuylkill Elementary school year!  A special welcome to our incoming second graders and new students.  We are excited to introduce you to our school, teachers and families!

We wanted to take a moment to familiarize you with our organization and provide key information all in one place.  Schuylkill’s School and Home Association (SSHA) is a family driven organization designed to bridge communication, fundraising and volunteer opportunities for families with students attending Schuylkill Elementary School.  Throughout the year we support over 30 events providing both volunteer and financial support.  Examples include school assemblies, family events at the school, book fairs, school store and teacher appreciation.

One of our goals is to increase the number of families actively involved at Schuylkill.  Volunteering comes in many different shapes and sizes and we understand everyone has unique availability based on family, work, interests and other activities.  Click on the links below to read more about ways to be involved and sign up for what interests you.
