Activities & Clubs

Chorus

The choral program at Schuylkill is an enrichment activity stemming from the vocal music program. Special attention is given to breathing technique, developing a choral tone, vowel shaping and consonant articulation. The chorus at Schuylkill is open to 4th and 5th grade students and performs in the Holiday and Spring Concerts.

Environmental Club

Is your child passionate about the environment?  Do they want to learn ways to help, both at school and at home?  The environmental club is for you!  We will try to help Schuylkill School and be activists for change to reduce our carbon footprint.

K Kids

K-Kids is a service club for 5th grade students at Schuylkill.  Throughout the school year the K-Kids work on projects to help our school, community and areas in need.  Service projects are student initiated and focus around assisting others.

STEM

The STEM Club is offered to 4th and 5th grade students during the Fall Semester and 2nd and 3rd grade students during the Spring Semester.  Students will work on a variety of building and creative projects!  Also, students will work on team building skills to help develop the 4Cs of STEM (Collaboration, Creativity, Communication, and Critical Thinking)!  The STEM Club is partially funded by the Phoenixville, Community Educational Foundation (PCEF).

Student Government

The Schuylkill School Student Government is comprised of 2 representatives from each homeroom in third, fourth, and fifth grade. The members meet once a month to communicate school concerns and accomplishments. In addition, they organize and lead community service projects to benefit both global relief efforts and the local community.
