Ms. Summer LindemanInformation: Besides being an Art Teacher I am also the coach of the Phoenixville Area High School Girls Tennis Team, which is a lot of fun! When I'm not teaching or coaching I love to do yoga or any outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and snowboarding. I also love to travel! I've been to 15 countries and almost all of the 50 states. I have yet to visit Hawaii and Alaska, which I hope to travel to soon!
In my own personal Art I enjoy painting or creating sculptures with wood, clay, and glass. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts and Teaching Degree from Tyler School of Art of Temple University in 2010 and my Masters of Art Education from Kutztown University in 2017. 

Favorite: One of my favorite projects is the 5th grade clay mugs. Each year in 2nd- 4th grade we focus on a new clay building technique; pinch pots, coils and slab rolling. Then, in fifth grade we put these skills together as our final culminating lesson. It is always a much anticipated project for students over the years. My favorite school event is the Schuylkill Elementary Art Show which features a piece of Art from every student in our school. Each student chooses the piece of art they are most proud of. I am overjoyed when I see a middle or high school student I used to teach at Schuylkill who tells me they still love creating Art and are continuing their passion in our Art Department programs!
